In our Southbank city apartment, we designed a space that is fashionable, functional, and reflects the homeowners’ personality. From first impression onward, the apartment is a testament to creativity, boldness, and a blend of feminine and masculine power. The entrance features a shimmering champagne geometric wallpaper, and it’s defined by the stone door frame leading to a decidedly glamorous kitchen. With its multifunctional features, the kitchen island serves as a dining table maximising the footprint and flow of the apartment. The adjacent living room room is similarly curated. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of the city, is the best backdrop for intimate and romantic entertainment. The view is reflected in the smoked wall mirror which adds depth and splendor to the room, making it more inviting and spacious. The living room was designed with a serene atmosphere in mind, a place to relax in with a book, or share a glass of wine by the fire in the evenings. We created a space with a “moonlit glow”, which was achieved with the dark and moody colour scheme, lighting, and curves in the furniture throughout. A crystal chandelier dazzles like a star above our custom rug, designed to complement the geometries and curves in the apartment. The custom fireplace and textural wallpaper add classic character to the space. In the home office, the blue wallpaper provides the perfect backdrop and drama to the space. The pendant light introduces a little glamour with gold detailing for that luxurious, yet professional feel, while a comfortable and well-designed chair, seamlessly integrates in this home office area. With a daybed and plenty of storage, this multi functional space enables the homeowners to stay on top of their business, while the chic decor, promotes a relaxing experience. In the master bedroom, we introduced a padded geometric wallpaper featuring a repetitive arch motif, echoing the soft and elegant curved bedhead and in our graphic custom designed floor rug. Above the bed an organic cascade-style crystal chandelier adds a quirky yet glamorous touch. Sophisticated nightstands and brass detailing complement the rich textures of the neutral coloured bedding and scattered cushions. The result is a dark and moody five-star hotel bedroom decor, that is cozy yet stylish, while eclectic and oh so sexy… all at the same time. The overall dark interior oozes sex appeal, and the dimly lit atmosphere at night, just adds to the mysterious ambiance.
